Changing the Terrain

• Open the folder containing the SEM files.
  As of now SEM files have been built or:

  • Central portion of Western Hemisphere (DC to Rio)

  • LA Basin

  • Snake River, Idaho

  • Two regions of Mars
    

• Drag the SEM file into the running simulator

• As always, locate yourself on the Guide Map if desired

New Terrain

• If you have a USGS DEM it can be converted with SEMBUILDER.

• Several other formats are supported, usually with an intermediate converter
